Dr. Yang's Cross-Country Trip

Dr. Yang and a group of volunteer students have arrived and settled in at the YMAA Retreat Center. The 5-day cross-country trip went smoothly, with stops in Ohio, Iowa, Utah, and finally California. Upon arrival, the long process of unpacking the contents of Dr. Yang's entire life began. Work resumed on various ongoing projects at the Retreat Center, such as clearing land, preparing the training space and lodging, and planting an organic vegetable garden.

More Retreat Center candidates and YMAA students will be arriving to join in on the work and the training before and throughout the summer seminar season begins in July.

The 10-Year Training Program will begin in late August 2008.

Bay Area Seminar with Dr. Yang

A special weekend seminar in the Bay Area is currently being planned to personally introduce Dr. Yang to the West coast Internal Arts community.

Please contact us if you are interested in attending this seminar or in hosting Dr. Yang for other West coast events.

Students and Sponsors

During the next few months, the first group of student candidate finalists will undergo a testing period administered Dr. Yang so that he may select the most qualified students by the end of June. During this time, the student candidates will experience life in the forest and with nature. They will get a firsthand taste of what it will be like to live at the Retreat Center so that they may decide whether they truly wish to spend the next 10 years training of their lives training there.

We still need to connect with several more people and organizations to sponsor more students. Master Yang would like very much to fulfill the full scale of his vision. Sponsoring a student will give you an insider's perspective of the Retreat Center's lifestyle and training program, with weekly and monthly reports from your sponsored student of progress, videos, and activities. Sponsors are also invited to join the students and Dr. Yang at the Retreat Center, for training or just visiting, during different parts of the year.
