2011 Winter Seminars with Dr. Yang

Dr. Yang will again be teaching in Boston, MA at the YMAA World Headquarters School in February. YMAA Boston instructors will also teach in January before Dr. Yang arrives. Save up to 15% in seminar fees when you register by the pre-registration deadline of January 8th, 2011.

New DVD by the Retreat Center Students

Pre-order your copy of the new "Kung Fu Body Conditioning 1" DVD. Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming and the students of the YMAA Retreat Center's 10-year Kung Fu training program instruct various body conditioning exercises. This program is the first DVD project by the disciples, shot on site at the Retreat Center. It captures their first year of training.

This total body workout is balanced with Qigong meditation techniques that are essential for all martial arts styles. Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming teaches the fundamentals of meditation, with details about posture, the Qi circulatory system, and how to properly practice embryonic breathing to increase your martial power.

Dr. Yang in Portland, OR for the First Time

To start off the new year, Dr. Yang will be teaching at the Northwest Internal Arts center in Portland, Oregon.

This will be a weekend seminar from 9:00am-5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, January 22-23, focusing on Qigong, developing a strong root, and fundamental Sticky Hands (Pushing Hands) training. There will also be emphasis on understanding the play of forces, energies, and intentions in partner practice.
